My dear friend lost his battle to stage 4 lung cancer Monday. He was a life long smoker. We all know smoking kills. But here I sit thinking about him and want to smoke a cigarette. That really is insanity!!!

Oh no Linda, I'm so sorry. Please keep in mind that the only thing worse than dying from a smoking related illness is still being addicted to it. Both my mom and dad died with nicotine patches on to try to keep them more comfortable. 😢

Sorry to hear about your friend Linda.

Smoking offers nothing of value but will eventually take everything.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
