7,768 cigarettes not smoked in almost 8 months.  $2,774.27 saved.  $11 per day, $83 per week and $332 per month to smoke.  Disgusting how I used to waste my hard earned money.  You can do a lot of things with $332 per month.  Two private music lessons per week for one child is what my smoking can now pay for.

Look at the stark contrast between where that money goes to now.  I sit here literally speechless to think of all the benefits that learning music has to a child versus me smoking and shortening my life which hurts my children more than me.  I'm so glad I quit.  I'm so glad my Dr. told me I was an addict and full of shit.  I'm so glad to have found other quitters who understand.  :i-m_so_happy:

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
