Went to work yesterday just fine.... 2 hours later.. thought I was drunk and almost fell 4 times within 5 minutes time...... this sucks.

I had it once before years ago, but do not remember it being this intense..

Called Supervisor to say I couldnt work anymore, had hubby come pick me up.. called my doc to see what his thoughts were, he said Vertigo, called in a script for Antivert... pheww the nausea alone is enough to make you miserable.... but the meds seem to be working, I finally fell asleep, and this morning not so dizzy.... hoping to go to work, as I HATE missing.

Anyone else ever had this???? I see RobF deals with it.. sorry... :( this is the weirdest thing...

I just have a fear of heights (which isn't actually vertigo) but I basically I get a feeling of dizziness, sometimes to the extent I feel I need to sit down and just readdress the world around me (which you might have seen me do a couple of times in that video).

The Childminder who used to watch my youngest suffered terribly from Vertigo as far as I could remember it was kept under control via medication but would flare up and when it did she had to take to her bed for a few days until they managed to get her medication stabilised again, sounds nasty, hope you feel better soon xx

I'm ok so long as I'm not on top of something high, or looking up at anything high (sometimes that is worse).

But I hope the medication helps you!

I never had it but my ex dealt with it but I can't remember what they Dr. put her on to help it.  I remember whatever the medication was, it worked.

Hope you feel better and never have it again.
