GET BUSY!!!

Get you mind off of it... go for a walk.  Clean something... Do something to get your mind on something else.

mind over matter all day!!!!

keep on keepin on.

Evelyn, you are celebrating one week today. You also already pledged NOPE, so smoking is not an option today.

I agree with Chrispy - you need to get busy to take your mind off it.

A crave is not a command.

Hi Evelyn,

You have a whole week under your belt and you have been here before!

Now it time to take control of your craving!

I WANT YOU TO GET A SMALL TOUGH PILLOW!

Every time you are feeling a crave and for as long as you are feeling crave,

I want you to be punching that pillow!!!!

Throwing that pillow against the wall!!!

Stomping on that pillow!!!!

until the crave is gone!

You need to take control of your crave, if you can not do it in your head, then lets get physical!!!

You are stronger that it and it know that, that is why it is messing with you head.

Buy the time the stuffing is gone from the pillow, you should be able to control the crave in your head!!!

Ok lets go!

Sounds good Evelyn. Well done.

craves still come from time to time - but each time you beat one - they get weaker and weaker. Sip some water, take some breaths and occupy yourself with something else - sounds like you did great.

Well done

As the Bandit says, each time it gets easier. I hope you've done what I said and thrown out all your smokes, ignition devices and ask trays. Make it easier on yourself by not having this stuff around.

And yes, get busy, do something, clean, cook, learn guitar... whatever!

Unfortunately you have to get through the bad to get to the good. Everything worth having is worth working for. Just keep doing the work it will get easier in time.

you already have one week, you did that yourself!!  You deserve this freedom and this feeling you have now - it will pass! It always passes and then you have kept your freedom. Click, shuffle your feet, sing, listen to music, talk, post, cry, whatever it takes to make it past. I always mopped the floor if that helps, it was really clean for weeks! Keep going Evelyn. You are already doing it, just hold on!!

Who's the boss, Evelyn? You, or Nicodemon?

You're NOT going to let that ugly little troll tell you what to do and how to live your life, are you?

Just say NO!

I know exactly how you feel. I have posted my nope and plan on sticking to it! Yesterday I literally had to say to myself " I will not smoke till 15:45" and then " I will not smoke till 16h10" and I was really only doing it for a few minutes at a time and it helped!

I told my neighbor that for now I'm not coming to visit her, as she's a smoker. "Don't tie the cat on the meat." Is a Dutch saying. For now I need to play it on safe :) especially with my moodswings
