Just realized when I posted on the pledge page that my ticker said 5 months and 11 hours. If the ticker says it, it must be true. Wow! It's a good feeling.  It gets easier and easier, and only a couple of times a day do I think of a cigarette--most of the time, only when I smell smoke or see one stomped out on the ground.

Have a great day, everyone

Excellent news that you 'forgot' your 5 month anny.  That is GREAT.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
