Life just keeps getting shitty and shittier everyday.

Nah!  You are quitting smoking and life will just keep getting better and better.

Your wife is very lucky to have you and is probably grateful you have quit.

Up In Smoke, I promise you will get stronger each day and there will be a time you will not miss it!

Congratulations on 3 days quit. You need to quit for yourself first and foremost. Everything else is all bonus.

....There is no freedom....

I strongly believe that one of the key success for quitting is the Attitude.

All smokers of any type (cig, chewing, vaping, etc.) are Nicotine addicts.  Quitting means you ARE getting your FREEDOM back, NO more worry about running out of tobacco, NO more worry about having to feed the addiction every few hours.

I tried to look at my quit from the bright side: I'm battling with the addiction for a few weeks to get my LIFE back, and it's the best decision I've made for myself.

So, Embrace your freedom, be proud that you're kicking the addiction in the butt, and you'll find it's not really that shitty to overcome the cravings.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
