RIP Don Everly

Don and Phil gave us some of the best harmonies ever.

Unfortunately, we also lost Tom T. Hall last week.  Hall did what was probably my grandfather's favorite song of all-time.

Elizabeth Cook played this one earlier today during her "Apron Strings" show.  Took me back, my grandfather thought these guys were hilarious.

Heard this one on the radio this morning.  Gets ol' Boo feeling sentimental every time.

@Boo, posted this on another thread and it brought back memories of me as a kid listening to my 45 record of this over and over again 😂

Going down memory lane and another song. This one my parents had my twin brother and I perform for them on family singing nights

I grew up on Roger Miller songs.  Dad is a big fan and I knew the lyrics to most of his standards at an early age.

And the tradition continues.  I've already introduced Maddie to some of Roger's songs.  Didn't know many lullabies, so there were times when I was giving her a bottle that I would sing "Chug-A-Lug" to her.
