Way to go Mona,

You got through this week. You should reward yourself on a job well done. We need to reward ourselves when we achieve certain benchmark goals. It's hard work achieving these milestones. Awesome job and keep it up.

Excellent work, Mona.

Congratulations on your Two Weeks Smoke Free.

Tell us how you are doing when you have some time, won't you ?

I'm feeling pretty good!  I'm not going to say that this has been easy but not too terribly bad so far.  The nicotine stains on my fingers are gone.  Smoking affects my blood circulation and I have not yet noticed much improvement there.  It must be due to the patches because in all of my cold turkey attempts, I noticed some improvement within one or two days.  I guess I'll just have to wait a little while for that.  Overall, I'm feeling positive.

I haven't rewarded myself yet but when I went to the grocery store yesterday, I was surprised at how much money was in my wallet.  Then I thought, yeah, that's right, I'm not wasting $7.50 every day on cigarettes.  Makes a big difference!  Maybe I'll treat myself to something when I get to one month.

You keep your great quit going too Mac...I'm right on your tail!

You keep up all the hard work and keep your quit going. I'll be waiting for you on the other side when we get through this.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
