I know I've only been a month quit but when I go swimming I feel I have more energy, my skin is looking better, smoother and softer. I've not put on any weight and if anything am losing a bit because I'm making packed lunches and exercise is fun! Not so much of a chore!

I'm single and actually enjoying it!

I saw my ex out at the weekend with his new girlfriend sucking down cigarettes and looking grey. I'm definitely better off without!

I think quitting smoking is the best thing I've ever done!

Sarah see how the world is a much better place without the cigarettes and we believed for so long that we couldn't survive without them PAH.  You've got this in the bag and the ex ha LOSER lol  xx

Nice to hear, I think it's been said before, you need to get yourself in a good place to fix yourself, not just around smoking but relationships too (be it friends or lovers). Once you're good and stable everything is easier.

It sounds like if you're not already there you're definitely on the right path. Keep up the good work!

Your profile still says "I'm only happy when it rains", which although an excellent track, might not be quite right anymore? Is it due for an update?

Sarah - sounds like you are doing great - and in your building there is bound to be a hot non smoker walking through the doors soon - just remember you promised to hold one of them up until I get there ,!

So happy to hear this Sarah. :)

And quitting is definitely the best decision you have made!

Enjoy your smoke-free life. :D

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
