so nice to hear Robert again ^^^^^thanks @Runfree, and that's my friend, Jimmy Pugh on keys.  so nice to see.  especially these days.  

 

never seen this before, although I know the song.  what a solo from Pugh !  jeeze.  everybody playing their asses off.  great performance.  swoon.

So cool that you know Jim.  What talent!  Robert Cray Band has been a staple of mine for decades.

Jimmy Pugh played also with Etta James for years (seven year ache era in particular)

he has founded the marvelous , Little Village Foundation

Recording and promoting musicians that have fallen through the cracks or that need/deserve exposure.

His work is excellent.

Check it out, I know you'll find lots you will enjoy.  All sorts of music from mariachi to bollywood blues !
