I am nearly two weeks into my quit.  Has acne been a problem for anyone else when quitting?  I never get spots but seem to have loads now. Not worried or bothered,  just curious.

That's pretty common pumpkin and I was lucky in that I didn't experience it but if you want to read posts from others who have, just type zits in the search box.

Oh and this too is only temporary and will pass 😊

I didn't experience this but, it is not uncommon and frankly, not surprising in the least.

Check out how many chemicals we were Freebasing with each puff.

Down to the cilia in your lungs, your body is purging itself of thousands of toxins.

Pumkin, I normally don't have problems with my skin but did when I quit.  I felt it was that ugly crap coming out of my body.  It also could be the stress and anxiety that comes with quitting.

You are doing great.  Just keep looking forward and this, too shall pass!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
