You ALL are Amazing - my day :)

Firstly, a big fat THANK YOU!! I am so proud to have quit smoking and to have reached one of the great milestones! It really feels SOOOOO good. Looking back to those first few days and weeks it felt like years before Id reach this point and here I am, like it took no time at all. I feel amazing most days, my life has changed so very much. I exercise, I eat healthy, I have so much more energy, I get more stuff done in my days. This journey has been one helluva journey and I wouldn't trade it for the world (unless time travel is possible and I could smack my younger self into never smoking at all, haha).

I use a quit smoking app on my phone and I took a few screen shots of my progress to share :)

I would HATE to ever have to start again and loose all these great health aspects.  To know that I could have smoked almost 3000 cigarettes after seeing what just one can do...Thank you everyone, old and new, for walking this journey with me and taking the time to be a mentor and a friend, means the world to me.  Today has been such a bitter sweet day.  Between this anniversary and my baby boy graduating preschool Ive been a little emotional, but all in all a great day!  How could you not love this face?

Thats great Mel!!

Spending time with your little one on his big day (coincidentally) while celebrating a huge milestone yourself is priceless...It solidifies the whole reason we have chose to stop killing ourselves!

I am just a few days behind you in my quit and have admired how you have handled your journey.

Again, coincidentally, my 6th granddaughter will be born the day after my 6 month anniversary...seems kinda fitting...

Don't ya just love life at times like this!??

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
