Good evening to all! I just wanted to come back and say hi. I joined up in 2018, and had jumped in from time to time but I had lost my quit almost a month in. Nothing bad happened, I just had a trigger that I hadn’t prepared for. And that turned into another year of smoking. I’ve brushed myself off and I’m happy to report that I’ll be 2 months free on the 14th. This one feels right, it feels good. My wife quit about a month before I did and we are both going strong, holding each other accountable and being each other’s cheerleaders. Life is really good. I am so excited for this continued change. I quit drinking the same night, so that’s been an additional motivator! I’ve been back in the gym working out and replacing my prior bad habits with healthy habits. I will be in and out of this board, but don’t worry I haven’t relapsed. I am an addict, but I can feel it in my bones, this quit is the quit! Happy to be smoke free! Count me on the NOPE train today!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
