Went to Liverpool town clothes shopping with my daughter nicky today....had lunch....

When we were on our way home, she says to me...

Mum that was lovely ,times before I have had to sit on my own while you went out for your smokes....

It made me think.....I went from shop to shop ,eaten, had a glass or two of wine, and never thought of cigs once......

We both agreed this deserved a smoke free hug....

Bet that made you feel really good inside Doreen, its these little simple things that makes you realise just how important quitting and staying quit is especially family, and I always think that hugs make the world a nicer place. xx

So happy for you Dorreen. Sometimes it's the times we don't even think about smoking that are the best :)

Doreen - sounds like a great day - so glad you didn't have to waste time you could have sent with your daughter smoking ! a0d0423989cfe63dbac86525c36d6b54_zpsff34

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
