Ticker not working -- anyone else having this problem?

I tried to enter my quit date and time, and it reads that I quit 8 hours earlier than now. Tried to adjust time, more inaccuracies. What am I doing wrong?

Glad you're back Kate, click on time box and then when the clock pops up click the hour number to the left then adjust the time on the right. Next click the minutes number on the left and the minutes on the right and lastly the am or pm then click set :)

I have the same problem except my time is off by 5 hours.  It seems like the ticker software is using Greenwich Mean Time and not adjusting for time zone.

Are you guys clicking on either am or pm on the clock?

I clicked on pm.  The ticker used to take time zone into account but it appears that this is no longer the case.

Yep, you're right. I just tried it myself and the time is off. Maybe @MarylandQuitter can look into it for us :)

I don't remember the tickers taking time zones into account because it wouldn't really make much difference.  I just checked and was able to adjust the time (not the time zone).  I checked it against a time and date calculator and it was spot on.

Is the issue changing the hrs, min, am/pm?

You're right, mine is spot on too now, maybe it was a glitch? When I checked it out a couple days ago the hours quit wasn't accurate but it appears to be now. Thanks for checking it out :)

The only issue I see is that it doesn't take time zone into account which is easy enough to work around.  I'm in GMT-5 so if I add 5 hours to my quit time, then I get an accurate ticker.
