You guys!!! ☺️

Thanks a lot for remembering my very special day! I have to admit I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for the quit smoking forums and I know I am not really giving back much for the last 1 or two years. Honestly thinking about smoking doesn’t help me much and I have been thinking about quitting the forum for good as well. I think I am not going to do that soon just to keep in touch with the beautiful people here. Anyway, short message for newbies: there is a very bright light at the end of the tunnel. Just keep on hanging on!

Do everything to protect your quit Hope2Nope whether it is continuing on the forum or cutting loose.

I really appreciate seeing your NOPE.  It is encouraging.

Hope you had a great celebration and continue on for the anniversaries to come.

@Hope2Nope I, too, have thought about leaving.  Then, I read something posted by a newbie and I’m reminded of my former self.  Or, I see a celebration of some sort - especially a fellow 2016 Butt-Kicker- and I am inspired to stick around offer applause and support as I’m able.   Like you- support from a forum helped my quit so much!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
