What makes You Laugh - really laugh - belly laughs?

Sometimes life can be so darn serious around us and especially if we are quitting smoking

I was taught that humour is the best medicine, now i take things serious aswell dont get me wrong but when the poop really hits the fan I like to fall back on humour now we are all different and it would be great to learn what makes you laugh

mine is slap stick humour I guess say for instance if an old lady passes gas in church - I would be rolling on the floor in tears and the more i tried to contain myself the worse i would be and the poor lady who wanted to go unnoticed would see me screaming running out of the door(of course afterwards I would be full of remorse as soon that could be me)  :P

or

some people make comments on here where i just scream out in laughter some really do crack me up

it always makes me feel better

so what makes you truly laugh?

Tiffs post about her drawing a c*** and b******* on her credit card slip and getting busted had me in tears...

And today someone at work said something funny about the (really) annoying girl... I was laughing so hard I was crying and I couldn't breathe - it was bloody brilliant (even though I am a horrible person for laughing at someone else's expense)... Just thinking about it now I am giggling in bed lol.

My son makes me laugh and my partner, tongue in cheek humour gets me every time, and love the posts on here, tears sometimes roll down my face when reading some of them.  The old style comedy like the Two Ronnies, and Morecamb and Wise, "bring me sunshine" lalala, Some of the new comedies, Mike and Molly, Friends, see one off comments that can sometimes go whooosh over your head and then you suddenly get them HAHAHAH

My kids. For sure kids say some hillarious stuff.  To date the best one was a 3 yearold Milly announcing at warp factor that a woman had eaten her baby. Or why the woman had a beard, just so many.

But truly, what cracks me right up is when people fall over on the ice in winter!! I know it's cruel, however I also laugh like a drain if it's me too (hurt or not) I find it hillarious.  I had to pull over on a school run this year as a whole family fell over hahaha, omg, funny as. Made worse by my eldest (lovely soul she is) saying oh god, I hope they're alright as my youngest said dat kid just stack it mum whilst laughing!  Still laughing now thinking about it ;D

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
