Don't laugh it's not funny ;)

I'm getting overweight.

I used to have extra nutrition because I had trouble eating due medication. Well, let's say eating is no longer a problem with 8 pieces of bread and a hot meal.

I'm in XXL

Not funny anymore.

But I got this antidepressivant which has this wonderful side-effect that you get hungry, YEEH!

Right now my max. is 8 pieces of bread with non-fatty things on them and a hot meal like a pasta. Something I can do in the microwave!

3 or 4 days ago I was 64 and some kg and I'm little just 1,65 cm and today my belly was HUGE!

Can I join someones diet topic?

Hi Evelyn,

The weight gain is not fun, that is for sure.  Try to look on the positive side though.  Better fat cells than cancer cells.  Fat is a lot easier to get rid of then cancer.  When you were smoking, you were inhaling stimulants continuously which sped up your metabolism.  Take that away and your metabolism slows down.  Together with the need to satisfy the hand to mouth urges, makes for weight gain.  For me, it wasn't even about hunger.  Now it is up to us to speed up our metabolism naturally, by ourselves without chemicals.  Frequent exercise would be a good start.

I understand what you mean about your medication making you eat.  My son takes a medication that makes him eat like you would not believe, even though I make him eat a lot of protein.  I have to hide food from him.  It's gotten better with the warmer weather, so he's more active.  That's another thing, exercise can work as an appetite suppressant too.
