Good mornin' fellow NOPErs and welcome to NAIDOC (nay-doc) week. NAIDOC week is a week we set aside to celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders each year and also there history and culture. This years celebrations kicked off on a sad note, David Gulpilpil was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Many of you will have seen David on you screens, he was the teen in Walkabout, he was the tracker in Rabbit Proof Fence, and he won the best actor at Cannes Film Festival for his role in Charlie's Country plus the movie all Aussie kids of the 70s and 80s loved, Storm Boy. Saddly David could not accept his award, it was announced he has lung cancer and "will soon be joining the Dreamtime". David is only 66. Much too young 😞 .

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
