As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a singer like SoberJulie ( I still do, if you want to know the truth -lol).  There is a picture of me when I am like 2-3 standing on my parent's bed singing into one of my baby dolls, bottle.  I think there is one of me singing into a beer bottle too.  Haha - my evil parents.   I'll have to go look through old pics for Throw Back Thursday sometime.

I used to tell my Daddy that I wanted to be a star.

From your posts you sound like a devoted momma. :) How many kids do you have? Do you think you will have more?

Aww.. Thanks!  I have two awesome kids.  A boy and a girl.

If I were younger, I would like to have 3-4, but at 45 - hail no!

what is your favorite vacation spot?

A beach.  Cancun is my favorite beach so far -  white sand beach, warm pretty blue water, and not to rough to swim in.

Are you still pissed off about the Superbowl (or lack of it)?

GO RAVENS 2014!!!

LOL - I'm not pissed.   :)  I'm  not a big football fan, and don't watch many Super Bowl games.  I will admit however, that I did watch a bunch of empty uniforms run around that day.  I don't know where the Broncos were, but they definitely decided to pass on that game.

If I had a favorite team(s) though, it would be the San Diego Chargers and the SDSU Aztecs. - just for home team sakes.  I still call the Broncos the Chargers, and I have lived near Denver for over 20 years now.  People who know me understand.  People who don't just look at me weird.   :)

I'm not clever enough to play practical jokes, but I do like to kid around and I'm sarcastic.

We went to a Mexican restaurant.  I had Baked Enchiladas.  They were okay.  I love going out to dinner because I don't have to cook or clean, but sometimes I prefer to eat at home because I like my own cooking better (usually).  I dislike cleaning the kitchen.

He has attempted a couple of times.  Cooking is not his talent.   He is currently learning how to grill.  I don't think he loves it, but he is getting pretty good.  The Green Egg is a helpful too.  Once it gets lit, it is AWESOME!!! :)

Legal or not - can't say I have enjoyed a fat one for many many years.  Aint' my thing.  Wine is fine for me.  I will however admit that the thought has crossed my mind to go grab a smoke (mj, not cigs) and light up with some friends.

I think legalization was a big mistake in Colorado.  Decriminalization, maybe, but....  Did you hear about the big synthetic drug bust over here?  So anyway.......

I smoked a bit when I was young, but it was never really my thing.  It made me feel paranoid.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
