Today is day seven. What an accomplishment. Thought this day would never get here. Many ups and downs but so worth the fight. Ventured out today for the first time since my quit. Bought me some lunch to celebrate. Felt good to get out and breath fresh clean air. Wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. Thanks everyone here for all the support.

Oh YES! The joys of quitting we can celebrate along the way!! Good thing you rewarded yourself because this is a BIG DEAL! 1st week is the worst. You are handling this really well so be proud and have confidence going forward that you will be able to handle things as they come along :)

Well done and it is so good that you got out, moved around some, and had a little celebration -- it really helps and you deserve it!!!

You've made it through hell week, desparate1.  Stay smoke free and you will not have to go through this again.

Things should slowly get better and easier.  Take the time to appreciate being a non-smoker and definitely have a little celebration.

Keep up the great work!  :)

Way to go deperate1.  If you can make it 7 days, the rest will easier.  As you keep moving forward, your power and self esteem will keep growing.  Keep that great quit going!

Woo Hoo D1, this is massive.

168 hours of incessant Nopes...that's phenomenal. When you look at 168 hours, it seems like such a huge number, but remember how you got past them, one crave, one hour at a time.

This was my mantra for my quit. One crave, one hour and one day at a time.

Congratulations on starting right and KTQ.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
