Two or three days ago, Runningwithwolves let me know that it was time for her to move on and asked to have her account deleted.  I've made the decision that no accounts will be deleted.  I'll disable them, move them to a different category, but not delete.  Too much information get's lost, not to mention the member may want to return at a later date.  I can hide their information etc. if they want but I will not delete the account unless it's something very pressing i.e., legal issues or something extreme like that.

Runningwithwolves account is in the guest category should she ever decide to return, all of her posts etc. will be here.  She is still able to view the forum, sign into her account etc.  If I see her back on the board, she'll be moved back to the member category, unless she tells me otherwise.  Members are allowed to delete their own blogs so if she's done that (I don't even know if she had one or not) it won't be able to be retrieved.

Members are free to come and go as they please but I am very, very hesitant to delete somebody's account because it doesn't accomplish anything.

Thanks guys.

When I left I didn't want to make the ''big exit'' like everyone does, good thing I didn't because well, here I am again. I guess MQ anticipated that members can have mood swings and change-minds huh?

I wasn't very involved lately on this forum, but I guess in my absence I realized that it meant more to me than I thought it did. (So I wanted to move on, but I kind of kept coming back again as a guest). So I'm back. No big deal. :)

Well done RWW!

At 3 months, you have proved to do what every one of us, as a smoker, thought impossible - really quit.

I can't remember exactly when it happened for me, but if I remember right it was around 3-4 months when things started to click more for me as a non smoker.

3 months is awesome!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
