Hi everyone,

Quite some time ago I signed up with QSMB.  Searched for it this evening and could not find it, and instead, found this site.  Looks like QSMB no longer exists and this is the place to be.

I also belong to Quitnet.  Became a member there the first day I quit smoking, May 15, 2003.  Being a part of that support group helped me through my quit.  Along the way it helped me to help others.  And that is where I am right now, helping if I can, and when time permits.

Looking forward to reading through the forums here.

Hi Peter.  I am still somewhat of a newbie and can use all the encouragement I can get.  I am sure you have plenty of wonderful knowledge to share.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
