Aww Colleen, can't you speak to someone and ask if low impact (ie yoga, pilates etc) is plausible? x

10 min fast walk, 5 min jog, 15 mins yoga, 10 mins pilates

today I was mostly indecisive about what I wanted to do lol.

I have not been running much since it has gotten cold outside (cant bring myself to run on treadmill all the time) I have been walking cody outside for about 5 miles at least 3-4 times a week have to put snow pants and dress warm. I am on call today so I went to the work gym and worked out on the arc trainer for 30 minutes then did some strength for about 20 minutes feels great. I have to reign in my snacking habits it has been a bit out of control.

Yeah, I think part of it is I need the endorphin's.  I was addicted to them and they just went bye bye.  Went to abs and booty class today, which is a mix of exercises targeting anywhere from the thighs to the shoulders.  We do floor exercises and use bands, weights and balls.  Unfortunately, some things I had to do a modified version, something about lifting my head from the floor sends me straight to where I don't want to be.  There is an express version of this class Tues nights, I think I'll try for.  I made a quick stop at gym #1 the other night, did a few machines but the slamming and crashing of weights by the meat heads pushed me over the edge and I left.  I really need cardio though, I haven't been eating as well as I usually do and need to burn something.  Right now, I'm just trying to prevent getting too out of shape and having to start from the beginning again.

Colleen, how about the bike at the gym? Not spinning but low intensity bike?

Today I biked outside and then lifted weights at my house

Colleen - maybe you could hire equip to use at home where the noise won't be a problem ??

Personally a week off -then boxing and training today - one day I will realise that skiving off th gym just makes your trainer make it so much harder when you get back to it

So, I forgot to take my new concussion medicine last night and woke up this morning with a jack hammer in my head and the dry heaves. Don't think I will forget to take it tonight! Needless to say, I didn't make it my class at the gym today.

I ran today with cody......my thighs hurt this am and I still ran lol could not pass up the nice(warm)  weather outside it was 40s today a bit foggy/misty

Cody ran (truly a fast trot) with me just fine I think he will make a great running partner lol I am paying for the runs right now though my thighs hurt/sore lol I need to keep up with running on the dreadmill so I dont become out of shape with running.
