Keep measuring Gemma and in different spots.  I no longer bother with the scale, the measurements are where the results are.

Yeah measuring is great! I've lost inches from all over since I started (14th July). A pound has finally gone this week now so I'm down 7lbs altogether :)

I think H has frozen over. My hb, who, in the 14 years we have been married has worked out like 5 times, joined a gym by his work this week. He's been leaving at 5 and swimming / cardio before work.

I have even went out there twice as a guest to see his new digs. We went early this morning too.

I still like my gym better though.

45 mins mix of yoga, arms and bum, added weights in to arm routine the whole way through today (have been doing half with half without).

As a by product, I also found a toy we had lost under the sofa, so an additional win :)

In a more serious tone...

I´ve signed in for a 5K fun run on the 2nd of August.

Yep. That´s next Saturday.

I started training about one month ago, but then somehow I got busy and stopped.

There is no way I can go from "running" 2K to running 5K in one week.

But I will show up and will run for as long as I can run, then I will walk, and then I will crawl if necessary. But I´m doing those 5K

Still exercising, very hot and humid here at the moment but I'm in love with exercising again, feeling great still not running too far yet but doing more each time :)

Went to Gym #1, did upright rows, seated pulley rows, triceps extensions, and chest press.  Couldn't run, still trying to heal my knee.  Funny thing is, I have no problem spinning, but walking and running hurts.

Ran 6.66 miles today (the number is freaky but eh I was done lol) feels great I need to run more I am not able to get out there because of the heat and humidity today was awesome it was overcast and in the low 60s with a breeze felt awesome now I am pooped lol

Tuesday did small group training and kick boxing, then yesterday did something that I think vaguely resembled running on the treadmill.- definately not pretty ! Tonight I have basketball.

Gym #1, early am/..did lat pull downs, 3 sets than 35 minutes spin.  After work went to Gym #2 for my first Cardio Kickboxing class.  It was quite the experience.  I felt a little awkward during most, towards the end I got the hang of a couple of moves though.  I had no idea I would be doing an insane amount of jumping jacks and running, my knee was not too happy.  it was a great workout though.  I think I'll wait till my knee heals till I take that class again.

spin and then boxing with my trainer - Colleen boxing is an awesome cardio workout but maybe talk to your instructor about some low impact stuff until the knee improves ??
