I have done NOTHING all week.  Today I went to the movies with my boys and ate popcorn, drank slushies and had McDonalds for lunch.  On a side note I have not eaten MCD's in months and it is horrible, lol!  I need to get back on it but Im going to wait till our spring break is over.  Hope this week doesn't undo all that I have done.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to see a pulmonologist for the first time.  He increased my combination inhaler from 100 mcg to 200 mcg.  What  a difference!  Gone is the burning in my throat and chest when I do cardio.  Breathing is much much better.  Today I did a circuit of upper body weight machines and then 20 minutes on the treadmill walking at 4 mph and medium incline.

Season opener at the local crag (Red River Gorge) last weekend.(Did y'all miss The Sarge?)

Saturday at The Great Wall   (Muir Valley)   and Sunday out at Pistol Ridge  [1]in the Lower Gorge.  Got some good moderate-to-easy Trad Lines in as well as many a bolted Sport Route at her limit for the Mrs. (she gets kinda sketched out with traditional climbing and likes to stick to the "safer" climbing [2])

Easy Glorious Rock Peasy!

FOOTNOTES:

[1] The hike up to Pistol Ridge was ridiculous with gear. Somebody fire that trail designer. Not even 2 miles of trail but felt like a 12-miler due to altitude gain too fast. Have they never heard of switchbacks at Pistol Ridge?

[2] The Sarge doesn't want to tell her that there is no climbing that is "safer"[3']. If she finds out, she'll quit going. Shhhh - don't tell her.

[3] Climbing is inherently dangerous!
