Celebrated with a hot pastrami sandwich, batter-dipped French fries,  and a diet coke.

At a restaurant with my beloved son whom I only see a couple of times a year.

Soon I'll be back home, eating my plant-based, whole foods diet. 

Thinking about how I want to celebrate one month. Maybe something that won't contribute to weight gain. 

Nah, that's no fun.

Going to work out at the gym when I get back home. Time to make the weight reverse direction.

Treat yourself Kate for all the hard work you have done these past weeks.

Time with your son and having a great time as a non smoker are priority #1 right now :)

Woohoo Kate....what a great way to celebrate 3 weeks... wonderful meal with your son. I hope you have a fantastic time. I defo think there should be some cake at your next celebration... lots of cake. :D

Congrats Kate, having read your blogs and entries, I'm aware what a phenomenal battle you've fought and more importantly won.

 

You did this, no one else, you're that person who wanted to overcome addiction so strongly that all craves had to take a beating and retreat to the furthest corner of the universe.

You're a star and you did it in style.

 

Congratulations on 3 weeks, onwards to your first month smoke free...Bravo my friend.

I also have loved reading your posts.  I think they should be required reading for all quitters as they are the perfect example of how you retrain your brain.  I think I said it before, you should be a writer.  Hope your son celebrated with you.  You surely deserve it.  The tough part is over, the rest of the journey should be easy!
