Hello Jack,

You are building a great quit.

Each day and each crave you whoop

is a huge success.

Remember, you never have to go through this again !

Keep your focus and don't be fooled by your addict voice.

Here are some of our examples

Red Flags

Also, often a crave is just your body signalling something

as in HALT,

Hungry, Angry (emotional), Lonesome (bored), Tired

Just keep moving forward.  The dogs will forgive!  hahaha

You got this Jack!  Remember that any difficult moments you have now are only temporary.  Given the chance, your brain will heal.

You are doing great, Jack!  As Doreen said, after Day 3, the nicotine should be out of your body.  That is huge.  Keep going strong!

Jack, you need a ticker!  tracks your days quit and money saved.  It can be really motivating!  You can make one by clicking on the link below.  If you have any trouble let me know.  :)

Good Morning, Jack.

I don't know how to do tickers but, I am sure someone will come along and help.

^^^^  Yay, Reci to the rescue !

When I quit, I put the dosh away in a little book.

Every day, I would put the cost of a pack in between the pages.

Soon, I switched to a big mason jar.

The Mason Jar was great.  Visible.  I didn't need to fluff it up, the cash rapidly accumulated.

Ducats were a great motivating factor for me.

Remember, quitting smoking is a journey

The Journey

Hello to a new day, Jack.

I see that you have a ticker !

Welcome to your Fourth day of Freedom.

I saw on another thread that you are quitting with your wife.

Excellent news.

Y'all will appreciate the new circulations ! and conquer craves in delightful ways.

Last time I poured shots on a mass scale it was Jam Doughnuts... and wet pvssy's.... not heard of a red death shot... intrigued and too lazy to google... but would be nice to one up the younger cousins.

Oh what's in a red death shot... that's a new one for me.

it's made with  a rocks glas each of  vodka, triple sec, amareto, sloe gin, southern comfort, and orange juice....and a 1/2 rocks glass of sour and 1/2 of grenadine....we keep several bottles cold all the time. it tastes just like hawaiian punch. and packs a punch...hahaha

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
