Two weeks--tiny celebration with carrot cake

Recommended Posts

Posted

I just gotta quit celebrating with food.

Two weeks.

I wouldn't have posted it, but I've been troubled with strong cravings all day.

Posting is a visual reminder that I've made it this far, may as well aim for another week.

Two Weeks is a huge deal, Kate.

Congratulations.

You will never have to go through these days again.

Protect your quit with everything you've got

and like @Martian5 says,

'don't worry about food right now'.

2 weeks is great and yes, you HAVE to go on for 3 now because well ...... why not? You must be seeing some benefits to being a non-smoker by now right? Sure; you still have work to do but you already have so much invested it would be a travesty to give that all up now! Keep going because it will keep getting easier and easier even though you may not truly believe that right now - it will!

Kate, those are the toughest weeks and you made it through.  It is just going to get easier.  Celebrate! You deserve it!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
