Thought I would pop in quickly while I'm having my  morning coffee. 

 

All is well, in fact all is very well. The first of our friends have arrived from England, yesterday we all went out for a lovely dinner and drinks. I didn't once have an urge to smoke !

 

I'm just about to go out walking with my friend and we're also going to have breakfast out. I think I'll have a dirty great big greasy fattening fry up because I deserve it lol

 

On Saturday I spent $180.00 on three bits of makeup ... and that hasn't even made a dent in the money I've saved by not smoking recently ... in the past I would have thought this terribly extavagant, but not now !!!

 

Hubby gets home from work tomorrow for 4 weeks, I will not relapse this time, I feel very confident. 

 

A big thankyou to all of you that have supported me and for all the wonderful advice.

that's fantastic Sue!  I know you won't smoke either.  Your hubby is still shackled to the chains.....even if he does stop for a period and starts up again...he is a slave!  Remember that...and you are FREE!!!  xo

Sue, it's great to hear from you. :) Spoil yourself! You definitely deserve it after almost two weeks of no smoking. I'm proud of you and you seem very confident in your quit, which is fantastic to hear!

Hey, SO excited and pleased to read this my friend. x  I hope you, your friends and your husband have a wonderful time.  It's hard when people smoke around you honey, I know, I had it the whole way through this quit, but people like you and me, we have the strength to demand what we're worth. Don't be tempted honey, the repurcussions look scary as all hell from where I sit. And what if you inspire just one of those people to quit and be free too, how amazing would that be!!  One day at a time, sending you strength and resolve. Be strong Soozie and be happy, you have this!! xx
