Congratulations @Wren18 for being 11 months smoke free!

Well Done on having such an awesome quit. So I see that ship coming in on the horizon.... see a Lido Deck function with your name one it so make sure you pack your bags well.. but before then, make sure you do something special to reward your efforts and commitment so far. We'd love to know how you celebrated.

Thank you everyone for the kind words and encouragement, as always very much appreicated. I haven't been here for a while but am still smoke free and aiming for that one year mark. It's not been easy and those smoking thoughts persist, which i'm a bit disappointed about to be honest,  but I just don't act on them. Thanks again :)

Keep pushing forward Wren because I can tell you from 1st hand experience, things keep getting better even after 1 year. It just doesn't stop there - 1 year is just a significant milestone because you've gone through all the seasons by then. Those urges to light up will be with us forever to some degree but they DO continue to be less and less compelling the longer we stay quit :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
