Saturday Poll: Peas of Beans

Which will be the preferred green veggie.... of the legume variety... Green Peas or Grean Beans.... not sure what I mean here are some pics...

Peas for me.

 

I love them when I have mashed potato in my meal and gravy goes on them.  They are just as good with lots of tomato sauce on too.

 

Pea fritters are lovely and my regular chip shop choice.

I'm a pea girl... love em, never get to eat um cos everyone in this house doesn't.... but when me dad does a lamb roast there are always peas... yum, with mint jelly or sauce.... mmmmmmmmmm

Oh !!!!.....I love green beans...I do like mushy peas...as we have discussed.... But I do love green beans ..so they have my vote...

I can't choose.. I love garden peas hate marrowfat peas but love green beans too except for Heinz beans it's the only ones I like..

I voted green beans although I like them both. Those mushy peas and fritters sound delish. We have a pea soup here in the States that's pretty good. My dad used to make one homemade with ham in it that was yum!

Probably not as good as real home-made but, similar idea. Good comfort food during the winter months. Warm and filling

This is ours from Pea Soup Andersons restaurant in Buellton. Yes, a restaurant that specializes in pea soup lol

I am all for the green beans, especially when simmered with onions, broth, and bacon --- just love it!!!

we have Pea and Ham soup... awesome in winter.... but those weirdo crow eaters in South Australia take things too far... they have this thing they ear called a pie floater... which is a bowl of pea soup with a meat pie in it.... its gross....

That is tomato sauce... which is basically ketchup but it tastes different... it is the south australian state dish.

Beans for sure.   I would hunt one pea in a meal down to remove it rather than eat it.  Green Beans are yummy cooked or raw.  I'm late on the voting but if the votes are being counted in Florida there is still time.

I will only eat raw from the garden uncooked peas

but, can eat green beans every way but canned

so  hummmm....which ?

Green beans have my vote, there is more opportunity for me to love green beans.

Don't like either of them cooked but love them raw and in salads.  Between the two, I like raw peas the best.

So, I'm guessing the mushy-peas I keep hearing about are not part of your menu
