Greetings NOPErs.... today is Thanks Giving for those North American's residing in the U. S of A..... so admist all the celebration (for those who do) and the drama (because most family gatherings have some of that) or for those who don't celebrate it makes sure you take a moment or two and pause to think about what you are thankful for.... me I am thankful that I gave up smoking.... I mean what's not to be thankful for, I met a whole bunch of other crazies... I have saved thousands of dollars.. well I haven't spent them on smokes.... I have gained confidence and self respect .... and had I not quit smoking I still would not know I had a serious issue with my thyroid that needed medical intervention.... I would be plodding along putting all the symptoms I had down to being a smoker and none the wiser so I am greatful I quit, that I found out I was sick and that I am getting the treatment I need. So that's what I am greatful for.... so to our lurkers and those planning or thinking of quitting.... why not do it today, so that next year for thanks giving you can be grateful to be a non-smoker too.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
