Greetings NOPErs. Still 26th down under so I've made it. So today is the last Friday in October so I was all excited to come in today and give a big WooHoo shout out for CanTeen Bandana Day... all Aussie kids love this, its the one day we could tweak our school uniforms and add a bright bandana... just for the day and it raised money for a kids cancer charity and its still happening... but I thought NOPE I best check what happening around he globe just in case and I discovered the last Friday in October is not International Bandana day with at least 20 countries having cancer charities that sell Bandanas to raise funds. How cool that a little Aussie concept has gone global and its all for such a good cause. So if you're in see a charity selling bandanas buy one today, wear it in solidarity for all those who have lost hair with chemo treatments, add a bit of colour to your day. If anyone should be giving to cancer charities its smokers (yes that's you the lurkers, we see you and we'd love you to come join us) and ex-smokers. No sugar coating it we have increased our chances.

So each year CanTeen gives our bandana day a theme and this year it is Attitude is Everything!  Attitude is everything, as Whispers says in he header, "Believe you can and your half way there".... that is the attitude of a lifetime quitter... believe you can, and you will.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
