Congratulations @Sparkzzz for being smoke free for 1 whole year!!

Welcome to the Lido Deck, please take a seat, put those feet up and enjoy the festivities. Hope you make some time in your studying for next months exam to celebrate your achievement in being smoke free for a year. I'm sure your new healthy eating plan and work outs are showing rewards.

Well done Sparkzzz!! 1 full year quit and climbing onto the Lido Deck is an important and memorable milestone for all of us.

Lay beck on a lounge and relax awhile and we'll get you a cocktail :)  I bet you're really proud of this accomplishment, as you well should be!

Thank you so much for the post Joe and thank you everyone else for staying by my side during the first couple of months of my quit. I am truly grateful for all the support you guys provided me.

I am eternally thankful to all of you. The board was my only support during my early days and my girl friend. I could not tell anyone about my quit or the fact that I used to smoke. I just kept studying things here (QSMB) everyday to get through my early quit - Celebrations - to see how people were doing in their quite ahead of me, withdrawal symptoms and other random stuff. I am thankful to have found the site as it seemed to be a support during these days of mine.

Again, I cannot state this even more better but thank you so much everyone for being by my side. I am sorry I wasn’t able to do the same for most of the times and hope will do so for the other people in here who are going through their quits.

Things definetly do get better. Hang on to your quits.

Love

Sid

Tha n you so much guys !!!! I really appreciate all the support I have received during my quit. My quit is still strong and intact and I don’t think I will ever falter, but will definitely stay vigilant. All of you in their early months of quitting. Keep it going. It will eventually get easier and over !!!!

Good Luck.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
