Congratulations @Octain for being smoke free for 9 months.

Well done. That's a great quit you have their Octain and you are 75% of the way to the Lido Deck and your first whole year of freedom. That is an awesome quit you have built there. It is great being able to share this journey with you. Celebrations and rewards are still important, so make sure you do something special to celebrate your achievement, cos 3/4 of a year is a bit special.

Thanks everyone.

I never would have thought it.

It’s funny, I still smell my hands in disbelief. They don’t smell of cigarettes.

I was so brainwashed into thinking that I could never quit that I never

even seriously tried.

Hands-down  quitting is the very best thing I have ever done for myself.

I honestly don’t think I would have made it past the first few months without this forum. This place was really my only support. Thanks so much, quitrain!

I’m saving my celebrations for the Lido deck.

That 65 inch LCD is  getting closer by the day.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
