Thanks guys, I am so happy that I made it. I used to stare at the quit smoking time line and look at the five year mark where it lists some major health benefits and wonder if I would make it.

Now it is free and easy and  I do not want the nicotine any more. I think it is just saying nope minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, dismissing the urge until it is more natural to be a nonsmoker than a smoker. For me this took over a year although the urge grew fainter as the first year went by.

Remember. Smoking us yucky. Meow

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
