If interested, I am nearly done with day 4.  It's been good and bad, relishing the good. To everyone else just starting out, the end of each day is amazing!

Congratulations, Parsley !

Four days is a huge accomplishment and a whole lot of nicotine has left your body.

You are doing great and wise to relish the good.

Why is the end of each day amazing for you ?

Is it the sense of accomplishment ?  The understanding that you have actually quit smoking ?

Good Job P!! Glitter gun this place up! because its party time!!!

I'm gonna tell you to keep rewarding yourself the first months to reinforce nonsmoking behavior but also to help your brain produce and clean up dopamine on its own again.

And, because it feels SO DAMN GOOD!

Thank you Jane !  This is an important part of the recovery process.

So, your attention to rewards is required, Parsley.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
