Morning NOPErs, today is the Australian Vietnam Veterans Day. It is a different date in Australia as it coincides with Long Tan Day, Australia's deadliest battle of the war. So to the men and women of the Australian Army, Navy & Air Force who served in Vietnam, and other Vietnam Vets from around the world your stories will not be forgotten, if noone has ever said it, thank you and welcome home.

To my 'boys' (who aren't with us anymore) and went off because of the conscription lottery and came home broken and torn... I wont be smoking this year when I'm waiting for the service to start, and I wont be "jigglin round" during the service "hangin' for a smoke" because I say "NOPE" so no need to come back and kick my arse cos I finally did it for myself. Thanks for the nagging over the years though, miss ya.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
