Its because of having quality people like you in my corner and watching my back that I'm still here. So, cos ya such an awesome chook you better do somthin spectacular to celebrate the last of your single digit monthaversary.... cos next month and ya double figures and before ya know it you'll be an old pharte like Jillar & Fluffy.

So just keep rowing, just keep rowing and before we know it we will be partying hard on the Lido Deck...

That's quite a mountain you've scaled, and the best part is you've helped so many others along the way. That's how a Champ does it!!!

Aw thanks folks.  Is it only nine months? I'm still feeling a bit impatient!!!  I was ill last week.  One day I woke up and my throat was on fire. And I was just thinking, crikey, I cant believe in time gone by I would have smoked in this situation.  The thought was insanity, CRINGE and just totally bonkers.  Ive been to many a smoke cessation session and I remember two questions they always asked to gauge how addicted I suppose you were to fags was how soon after you first wake up do you smoke - my answer was I pick up a cig and lighter in the same motion as I turn off my alarm.  And do you smoke when ill - yes. I think I was a pretty hardcore smoker!!!!  But look at me now eh.  Just don't give up, just keep trying.  And one time, it will just work out for you.  I mean, once upon a time I really did think it was the impossible, to quit smoking. But it really is not. Roll on the double digits!!!

Congratulations on nine months weegie woman, I remember gauging how sick I was by how the cigarette tasted! I hope you found that you recovered much quicker than when you smoked. Don't forget to celebrate your monthaversary by doing something special for yourself :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
