Because I didn't really want one and I knew it, I think I just wanted to be self destructive for the sake of being self destructive.

Its like a part of me doesn't think I deserve it when good things are happening (like this quit being so much easier than my other one) and I need to sabotage myself because I'm not worth it.

Because I wanted to do Fluffy's Lido Deck Woohoo post

Because I knew I was being stupid and ridiculous

Because I didn't want to hear people say, Oh we new that wouldn't last

Because, never, ever do I want to do this bullshit again.

Because I decided that I deserved to respect myself enough to not be a d1ckhead.

Jo, we are so close in our quit dates that your post made me shiver. That was close and you really played with fire, but you showed yourself you’re stronger than that, stronger than you yourself think. You are one of the most precious people, remember that!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
