I don't spend a lot of time thinking about smoking anymore. I just go about my days and live life like it's supposed to be lived.

Last night, I was brushing my teeth and realized, I still spend extra time brushing the insides of my lower teeth, because they used to get so tobacco stained. Of course, since I got all that nasty nicotine mess scraped off my teeth a year and a half ago, it hasn't come back and I don't need to spend the extra time, but I still do.

 

They say old habits die hard.

 

As I lay in bed last night, I was thinking about how I had to get up early to take my dog to the vet today. Then I thought about how -when I smoked-  I used to have to wake up 30 minutes to an hour early just so I could suck down a few smokes and start my day the right way.

 

Funny how we arranged our lives to accommodate our habit.

 

As I said, I don't think about smoking too much anymore, but when I do, I just have to smile. Not only is my health better, but my LIFE is so much better. I have more money and I smell amazing (hello, ladies).

 

If you're struggling, please stick with it. I promise it will be worth it!
