I am going to do something rebellious today and I'm NOT going to go buy a pack of cigarettes. It's what everyone's expecting, including me. So I'm going to do the opposite.

Anything you can do in these early days to bolster your confidence and endure the early days of your quit is GOOD!

Each battle you fight and win is a testament to your resolve to quit AND, just think, you will never have to fight like that again providing you keep your quit!

Christine, this quitting thing happens very slowly but it DOES happen as long as you stick with it. You'll see :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
