Congratulations @zenith for being one month smoke free!

The first month is the hardest one so well done for getting through it. Make sure you do something special to reward yourself and celebrate and pop in to let us know how you spoilt yourself.

Congratulations @zenith 1 tough month down, you've held steadfast, hoping to emulate this in a few weeks myself.

Great job, and thanks for the inspiration.

Aw thanks everyone I appreciate it!! The first few weeks were really tough but it's gotten easier. I'm doing my best to just deal with any stressful situations that arise rather than avoiding them, which I'm finding cigarettes gave me an "excuse" to do. I'm also on a home decorating kick and have been making little improvements around the house, so that's nice I guess. Interesting ride so far.. thanks your your support!

Doing great Z!! Learning to deal with stress after quitting is a challenge for a while just because we program out brains to believe smoking help relieve stress when it's actually the opposite. Smoking adds stress as we are in a constant race to feed aour addiction and YOU said it right . Cigs gave you an excuse to avoid stressful situations - not deal with them :)

Welcome to the 1 month Club! Celebrate the occasion!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
