I have gone through all the mental ups and downs of quitting since january 2, and I feel that I am as mentally prepared as I'll ever get. Not it's just the physical addiction I need to deal with. This should be the easy part, right?

Christine, you obviously have the desire to quit, now it's about the determination.

It can, although not necessarily, be a tough road. Muster all your determination, take smoking off the table, and resolve each day in Nope. Then just hold on to that tenaciously until you do the same again the following day.

Stay close to the board, read and post often and remember to shout and scream when you need. We're here to help.

There was no easy part in the first few months for me Christine. But the rewards are definitely worth it so keep your eye on the prize. You can do it but you have to want it bad enough to go through the bogus first few weeks

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
