I have been thinking about this for months, finally did it.  I was just going to get shoes, wasn't going for the clipless route.  My feet have taken a beating and my performance has been affected.  It was starting to get painful.  Didn't care what they looked like and went to the clearance aisle first.  I was a little leery on the white, but I figured I'm only wearing them inside, so no worries there.  Still ended up spending double the cost of the shoes.  There were the cleats, installation, REI membership and a pair of $9 socks so I would qualify for a $20 gift card.  Can't wait for spin class tomorrow :)

Great for you Colleen.  I am so glad you finally bought those sneakers. I know you have wanted them for a while.  You deserve it. :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
