  1. Love this. I still have bad days, but I also like posting on good days. It keeps my perspective that things ARE GETTING BETTER. (Should I now break into song?)
  2. Only reveal it to Philly fans. Sorry.

  12. When I stop posting late night you'll know I've found something better to do than fight with nasty flaming turd trying to break down my door.
  13. i dont smoke the ugly fag no more... "I don't smoke, I don't chew, I don't go with the boys that do."
  14. The bracelet idea so works. Well done you!
  15. I think for me, "Death travels in a Pack..." Have been noticing how weird it is...when that fleeting thought arrives unexpectedly...it's never, never, never, "I wish I had a whole pack of smokes"... it's always about just one. Right there it's the addict talking, or lying. Maybe another would be, "There's no such thing as one..." Love the bracelet idea. Thanks for sharing!
  16. Love this, Marti. You may have picked up on a slight fear. When people (especially other smokers) hear you have quit they always ask how long. This just reinforces the hanging by your fingernails thing. Look, every smoker and ex-smoker seems to think in terms of not smoking as just ticktock time before a relapse. What I love about Quit Train is the constant reinforcement that now I don't smoke. Not even a puff. Period. The rest is my life. Don't know why this is so flippin hard to manifest! Keep those beautiful affirmations coming, Marti. They are appreciated more than you can ever know. Or...do know!!!
  17. When I first quit smoking I became obsessed with oil diffused Lily-of-the-Valley scent. But now am enjoying all the Scents of Life. This was a fun post, Ava.
  18. TOTALLY COOL, NANCY. LOVE IT. So much better than tattoo idea. Had a bit of March Madness there...
  19. Haha. After posting this totally came to my senses!!!
  20. These pictures are amazing. The change in your hips and legs is amazing. Did you do this with running as your main exercise? These pictures are awesome! I knew your name from fb, but can I still call you Babs (name of my fav Aunt from Philly RIP) --Anyway, all around on smoke free and body cool WELL DONE YOU!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
