Thanks. I never got much loving in the "Summer of Love", (well, truth be known, she wouldn't let me at all). I was just happy to be with her. All eyes followed her. Counted myself "lucky", anyways.

Thanks. I've been trying to run out, over the last 5 minutes. They seem to be infinite.
  4. Here and checking in. Or, did you want us to do this somewhere else. I could relay more graphic stories of surgeries, if you wish. :P
  5. You gave me a sore neck "Asshole".

I'm sure this topic, has been beaten to death here. It was at that other place. I don't like 'em, for personal reasons (it's not worth the effort to explain, LOL). Question: How many do we have in a day? I'm thinking of using them now, as I'm not up to posting to a lot of threads, and I know that I like it, when someone acknowledges me with just a "like", at least. Thanks.
  10. Nice to hear good news from you! My best to you, my friend. m/
  11. Time for an appearance here. Truth be known, I don't like the - part! -11
  12. Hi Rob! :) I have been thinking of you a lot and am happy to hear, that you are still smober. I'll let the clearer-headed blather-mouths give you any advice, rather than my blathering away. m/
  13. As a member of the male gender, I am offended by that, for bakon.
  14. Are you telling us, "That you've been short-changed, a time or two"?
  15. I called my pharmacist. Omeprazole, is OTC, here. Of course, it's different in each country. I'm going to get some. Once I can coerce doc#1's receptionists to let me talk to him over the phone, I'll get a script, that will cover it's cost from my work health plan. In fairness to the receptionists, they have been instructed to tell all the patients, that they need to come in for scripts. Well, doc#1 doesn't mind with me.
  16. Oh, thank you 7/7 and everyone else. You even have a Stop Sign for me! That's nice of you!
  17. Thanks, SanDar. I'm sure, it's tension related to the quit, and everything else in my world. Good to know, that you had good results with omeprazole. That's Losec. :)
  18. Yep, I had it perpetually (gastritis), when I "drank like a fish". Since then, I've had a "cast iron stomach". It could take anything well, except that hot hot oil, some like with their Mexican food. I digress ... Anyways, this quit, I've had gastric pain. Even wakes me at night, and I don't need any more nocturnal awakenings, than I have already. I took a slug of my wife's Gavascon today, and the pain disappeared for 3 hours. The pain is coming back again now, though. I know no one can diagnose and prescribe here. But, I can for myself. Anyone, using Pariet, Losec, or even Zantac and having any success with it? I'm leaning towards the "big-guns", for now. ... I
  19. Maybe it is not polite of you to publish a link to your site here, so let me do it. I hope this is the one you are referring to: http://stuartlennon.com/?page_id=7 aah, forget that. I logged out and checked your signature, and I think you have the link posted. Carry on ...
  20. Oh dear. You guys crack me up! Yes MQ. I'm getting the ones I allow from QuitTrain.
  21. Jenny, that's a funny poll!
  22. He doesn't anymore? Let me check.
  23. I wish I could express all my gratitude and share what this forum and its people mean to me, in a short fashion. Unfortunately, I can't. So, thank you MQ, the mods, and all the people here. Happy Anniversary, QuitTrain!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
