  3. Just to check in...I still don't smoke...
  4. I did not smoke. But I'm at work with with a hangover and wondering which is really harder... giving up the drink or the sticks? I needed this as a reminder of why I can run and hide under a bottle. It's like hiding from a fire under a gas soaked blanket. But then again, didn't I know that? Thanks for the quick responses, that was my first SOS ever.... hopefully, I won't need more in the future. But I feel relieved knowing you all are here for me when I need it.
  5. Thanks Doreen, I'm not going to throw this quit away.... But I am on my third beer, so I have thrown sobriety away tonight.... I am sticking to NOPE though, its the one dependable thing that i have right now...
  6. stressed out because of various things and went out for a beer after 30 days sober... junkie mind calling for a smoke... I wont smoke, but I really just want to calm my nerves.... I need to get over this bitterness I have with life...

  8. Thank you everyone! It feels great, my fingernails are pink, my head is clear, all is well!! I've also got 14 days of sobriety today... things are on the up and up. I've got some other issues I'm dealing with but I'm taking it all one step at a time, one day at a time. All of your support is much appreciated and I'm thankful for your future support as well. Choo! Choo! PS I've been to that temple in Kamakura, Sazerac...!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
