    Day 7 or Night 7

Day 7 is over and it is almost time for me to go to bed. It is only 9:20 PM since I no longer smoke I have been in bed by 10 pm every night. Normally it would be between 11 and 12 as I was quite happy watching a movie as long as I had my cigarettes to smoke. Pretty Strange. No issues for me today but I think I lot my quit buddy, It was cool to have someone to quit with on the same day and go through all of the stages of the quit at the same time. I can only hope he is doing well. Tomorrow is Day 8 I am getting closer to 2 weeks with every day. Good Night Friends.
  8. Day 7 is almost over I am amazed..went to CVS across the street from work which was my normal store to be cigarettes no issues.

    RECIPES

I like zucchini on the grill mixed with yellow squash very easy. Peel and slice the zucchini and squash long ways (the amount depends on how many people are eating) Put in zip lock bag add a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and dill. Mix bag until well coated- put in tin foil and cook on grill 25-30 minutes depending on how well done you like it. Always comes out great.

  20. So basically I am or may not need it- but if I needed it and it wasn't there then I am out of luck so maybe later today or tomorrow I will post my SOS response to myself. I made a decision Thanks for the help!
  21. These are my thoughts. I am really new at this today is day 7. I am wondering with my NOPE pledge every day and my VOW to myself that I will never poison my body again with smoke is there going to be an SOS. I need some input. Has any one else felt this great, happy and determined for the first week and then had an SOS? The thought of smoking has not left me- it pops into my head - after all it was a lifelong addiction. The smoking neighbor has not deterred me.. it was tempting to have smokes available right there at no monetary cost but it is my concern for my health and well being that made it easy not to ask for a cigarette. At this point I can't even imagine filling my lungs with smoke. So my question is will I have an SOS ? Am I worrying unnecessarily?
  22. IamDoing it, I really would love to hear the rest of the story- I have been waiting for days.
  23. Hi Julie, A BIG HUGE THANK YOU :) It is Day 7 for me - I am still doing great- Prior mornings I get up make some coffee grab a piece of Nicorette. I totally forgot about the Nicorette this morning until I was driving in to work. It is getting better everyday. Thank you everyone for all of your kind words and great support.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
